Is it any good?
The 16-inch MacBook Pro starts at ₹3,59,900 with the Apple M5 Pro chip, 24GB unified memory and a 1TB SSD. It suits 3D designers, colourists and developers who want an expansive display and heavy computing power on the move.
That money buys a 16.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display at 3456 x 2234 with 120Hz ProMotion, three Thunderbolt 5 ports and six speakers. Apple rates the 100 Wh battery at up to 24 hours of video streaming, supplied with a 140W USB-C fast charger.
The catch is pure bulk: at 2.14 kg and 16.8mm thick, it demands a sturdy backpack and dedicated desk space. Choosing the top M5 Max chip also trims battery life down to 22 hours, while adding even more weight. There are also no USB-A ports for older accessories.
