Galaxy F70 5G is ₹21,999 at Samsung, ₹2,000 over launch reports
Samsung's India store lists the Galaxy F70 5G at ₹21,999. Launch-day reports said ₹19,999, and Samsung hasn't explained the ₹2,000 gap. Here is what to buy.

The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G costs ₹21,999 for 4GB + 128GB and ₹24,999 for 6GB + 128GB on Samsung’s India store today, which is ₹2,000 more than the ₹19,999 and ₹22,999 that launch-day reports gave. Samsung has not explained the gap. If you are buying, the 6GB version is the one to pick.
Did the Galaxy F70 5G price go up after launch?
The prices on Samsung’s India site are ₹2,000 higher than the launch-day figures, but we can’t say why. Indian outlets reported ₹19,999 and ₹22,999 when the phone launched on 18 October, with launch offers taking them down to ₹17,999 and ₹20,999. Sales began on 20 October at noon IST.
| Version | Reported launch price | Samsung’s India store, 22 October | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4GB + 128GB | ₹19,999 | ₹21,999 | ₹2,000 |
| 6GB + 128GB | ₹22,999 | ₹24,999 | ₹2,000 |
It could be a price rise, or the launch figures may have been a different kind of price, such as an introductory one. Samsung gave no notice either way. The timing does match a pattern: days earlier it put up the prices of the Galaxy A27, M47 and F70 Pro by ₹2,000 each, just before the festive sales.
Check the price at checkout. Samsung’s store page does not show the card offers, so any bank discount will only appear at payment.
What do you get for ₹21,999?
You get a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen at 90Hz, an Exynos 1330 chip, a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging. Samsung’s own page confirms the chip, the battery and the stabilised camera. The Synap’s page lists 4GB or 6GB of RAM and security updates until September 2031.

No independent battery or camera test has been published yet, so treat Samsung’s figures as claims. On paper it is the same phone as the Samsung Galaxy F17 5G in new colours, Vivid Violet and Bold Black, and our page shows it ₹1,500 cheaper than that phone’s ₹23,499.
Which Galaxy F70 5G version should you buy?
Buy the 6GB version at ₹24,999 if you want this phone. The step up from 4GB costs ₹3,000, and 4GB is thin for a phone that Samsung promises to support until 2031. The 4GB version at ₹21,999 is the poor-value pick.
The cheaper rival sits in the same family. The Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G starts at ₹18,499, which is ₹3,500 less than the F70 5G, and has a bigger 6,000 mAh battery. The trade is a lower-resolution LCD at 120Hz in place of the AMOLED, and no optical stabilisation on its camera, per our page.
| Phone | 4GB + 128GB | 6GB + 128GB | Battery | Screen |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy F70e 5G | ₹18,499 | ₹21,499 | 6,000 mAh | 6.7-inch LCD, 120Hz |
| Galaxy F70 5G | ₹21,999 | ₹24,999 | 5,000 mAh | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, 90Hz |
| Galaxy F17 5G | ₹23,499 | ₹26,499 | 5,000 mAh | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, 90Hz |
If you care most about the screen and the camera, the F70 5G is worth the extra. If battery life and price come first, the F70e 5G is the better buy.
