Is it any good?
The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable phone, opening in India on 23 October 2026 at ₹299,900 for 256GB and climbing to ₹449,900 for 2TB. Closed, it is a compact 5.4-inch phone at 11.3 mm thick; unfolded, it turns into a 7.6-inch OLED tablet that is just 5.2 mm thin in a titanium frame with an IP68 water-resistance rating.
Both screens get 120Hz ProMotion and 3,000 nits peak outdoor brightness, with a nano-texture anti-reflective finish on the folding inner panel and support for Apple Pencil (USB-C). Inside sits the top A20 Pro chip with a 7-core GPU, Apple's C2 5G modem, Wi-Fi 7, and Touch ID in the side button instead of Face ID.
Even at ₹299,900, you make real compromises compared with the ₹179,900 iPhone 18 Pro Max. There is no dedicated telephoto camera on the back, the inner under-display selfie camera is capped at 1080p video, and India units are eSIM-only with no physical SIM tray.
