Is it any good?
The Xiaomi 14 CIVI starts at ₹42,999 for 8GB + 256GB. Xiaomi promises three major Android version updates and four years of security updates. Software duties are handled by HyperOS, delivering fluid system navigation, customisable lock screens, and clean background application management.
Inside is Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 silicon, a 6.55-inch quad-curved 120Hz AMOLED panel reaching 3,000 nits under Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a 7.5 mm chassis weighing 178 g. The front camera array pairs two 32MP sensors for standard and 100-degree wide angles, while the rear module carries a 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor with Leica colour tuning, supported by 67W charging for a 4,700 mAh battery.
The main trade-off is an IP53 splash resistance rating rather than full IP68 submergence protection. For users who value lightweight ergonomics, front-facing portrait versatility, and curved glass aesthetics, it offers distinct appeal. It combines refined quad-curved aesthetics with versatile portrait perspectives for fashion-forward creators.
