Is it any good?
The iPad (A16) is Apple's everyday tablet: an 11-inch screen, a 12MP camera on each side and Touch ID in the top button. It starts at ₹49,900 for 128GB with Wi-Fi, and it is for students, families and anyone who mostly reads, streams and makes video calls.
The money buys 128GB to start, a 512GB option, Wi-Fi 6 and a 20W charger in the box. The front camera sits on the long edge, so you stay in frame on landscape calls. It works with the ₹24,900 Magic Keyboard Folio and the ₹7,900 Apple Pencil (USB-C), but not with Apple Pencil Pro. The 5G versions cost ₹18,000 more and take an eSIM only.
The catch is the chip. Apple's list of Apple Intelligence devices includes the iPad mini (A17 Pro) and every iPad with an M chip, but not this one, and the screen has no ProMotion. If the AI features matter to you, the iPad mini (A17 Pro) is the cheapest way in, at ₹20,000 more.
