Six OS updates and 6,000 mAh, but ₹18,499 is too much for 4G LTE.

Is it any good?
Priced at ₹18,499 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the Galaxy A08 LTE is a 4G-only budget phone that lands at the exact same price as Samsung’s own 128GB 5G models. On paper, its main draws are an IP64 dust-and-splash rating, a 6,000 mAh battery, a dedicated three-card slot (dual nano SIM plus microSD up to 2TB), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It runs One UI 9 on a MediaTek Helio G99+ processor with a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display, a 50MP main camera, 25W wired charging support (charger sold separately), and a promise of six OS upgrades with security patches until September 2032.
The catch is the value proposition: for the exact same ₹18,499, the Galaxy F70e 5G and Galaxy M17e 5G give you 5G connectivity, double the internal storage (128GB), and a 120Hz display, while the identical 4G Galaxy F08 LTE costs ₹1,500 less at ₹16,999.
