Is it any good?
At ₹27,999 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (or ₹30,999 for 8GB + 128GB), the Galaxy A17 5G brings Gorilla Glass Victus protection, an IP54 splash rating, and an optically stabilised 50MP main camera to a slim 7.5mm, 192g frame.
It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a 5nm octa-core processor up to 2.4GHz, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a hybrid microSD slot supporting up to 2TB. Samsung also commits to six generations of OS upgrades and security updates valid until August 2031.
The catch is internal pricing. The Galaxy F17 5G (₹26,499 for 6GB) and Galaxy M17 5G (₹22,999 for 6GB) share the exact same display, processor speeds, cameras, dimensions, and 5,000 mAh battery for thousands of rupees less, and only the A17 5G’s 8GB tier gives it a unique configuration.
