Is it any good?
Priced at ₹35,999 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (or ₹40,999 for 8GB + 128GB), the Galaxy A27 5G brings Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back alongside an IP64 dust-and-splash rating. It is aimed at offline and store buyers who want a 7.8mm, 200g phone with microSD expansion up to 2TB.
It runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED screen, a 50MP OIS main camera, a 12MP front camera, NFC, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Software launches on One UI 8.5 with six generations of OS upgrades and security patches valid until July 2032.
The catch is how closely it overlaps with two better-value Samsung siblings: the ₹35,999 Galaxy M47 5G packs a larger 6,000 mAh battery for the exact same money, and the ₹36,999 Galaxy A36 5G adds IP67 immersion protection, stereo speakers, and 8GB of base RAM for ₹1,000 more.
