Is it any good?
Launching at ₹79,999 for a single 8GB and 256GB configuration, the Galaxy S26 FE is Samsung’s big-screen bridge into the flagship tier. Because it arrives later in the year, it ships out of the box with One UI 9 on Android 17 and promises seven major Android OS upgrades alongside security patches until September 2033.
The hardware covers the flagship fundamentals cleanly. It pairs a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and an IP68 body in Gorilla Glass Victus+ with the deca-core Exynos 2500 processor. Battery life gets a 4,900 mAh cell with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging, while the rear camera setup includes a 50MP OIS main sensor and an 8MP 3x optical zoom lens.
The catch is internal competition. At ₹79,999 with 8GB of RAM and a USB 2.0 port, it costs more than the 12GB Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S25 (₹74,999) and ₹10,000 more than the very similar 256GB Galaxy S25 FE.
