At ₹36,999 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (or ₹40,999 for 256GB), the Galaxy A36 5G sits ₹10,000 below the newer Galaxy A37 5G while keeping most of the same formula. It is built for buyers who want Samsung’s clean glass-sandwich build, water resistance, and long software support without spending ₹45,000.
You get a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED panel peaking at 1,200 nits, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, an IP67 rating, stereo speakers, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Samsung backs it with six generations of OS upgrades and security updates until March 2031.
The catch is the modest 2.4GHz octa-core processor for ₹36,999 and the lack of a microSD card slot, which Samsung still includes on the cheaper ₹35,999 Galaxy A27 5G.
